Michael D. Smoker, CPA, J.D. has 24 years experience in public accounting helping clients achieve their financial goals.  Mike is a 1978 graduate of Drexel University and 1981 graduate of Villanova University, School of Law.  He earned his Certified Public Accountant license in 1982.  He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants.  Additionally, Mike has over 20 years of legal experience as an attorney in the areas of tax, estate planning, real estate, and business transactions.  Lastly, Mike also has experience in various business start-up and entrepreneurial and related entrepreneurial activities.

Christopher M. Farah, CPA, CFE, FCPA, a partner in Smoker Farah & Company LLP, will lead the Shillington team. Chris is a 1994 graduate of Saint John's University, with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He earned his Certified Public Accountant license and his Certified Fraud Examiner certification. He has over 12 years of accounting experience in financial statements preparation and business and individual tax matters, including tax minimization planning. Having experience in both the public and the private accounting forums, Chris affords his clients knowledge from both theory-based and practical accounting. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
